Indoor Facilities
Here at New Century Bowmen, we are lucky enough to have our own clubhouse for indoor shooting. The clubhouse has 7 individual foam bosses which can have 2 targets on each, at a range of 18 metres for standard indoor rounds. We supply a range of target faces for any indoor and outdoor rounds.
We also supply some equipment for bow maintenance and tuning, as well as some equipment to help any archer to improve their skills.
Full Members of the club have access to these facilities 24/7.
The club also has a ventilation system that was installed during the COVID 19 pandemic to help keep the air fresh as well as cleaning resources to keep people safe.
The club has gas and electric heaters for use in the winter.
We also provide tea/coffee and a tuck shop that any member can use.
Outdoor Range
We are very lucky to own our own land. This gives us, as a club, a few perks when it comes to outdoor shooting as it is not a shared field and is for archery use only. This means access is available to any Member 24/7 and there isn’t a requirement to have to find lost arrows that day.
This field is regularly mown to keep things neat and tidy.
We are able to accommodate up to 30 bosses on our field for major tournaments.
For day to day shooting we have 7 foam bosses that are on wheels and a couple of fixed bosses.
The field is split into 3 ranges with the first, closest to the clubhouse, consisting of 5 movable targets that are used for point-blank to 60 yard distances.
The 2nd range has 2 foam targets further down the field for those wanting to practice the longer distances from 70 Metres to 100yards.
The 3rd range consists of static bosses this area is still in development but currently consists of a couple of 50 metre foam bosses and a few smaller range Field practice bosses.
The distance between all 3 ranges is enough to allow the safe collection of arrows if others are shooting on the field.
